Andrea grew up in northwest Indiana then attended Purdue University. After graduation, she
taught high school agriculture for two years before moving to Ivy Tech Community College.
Andrea spent almost 15 years in post-secondary education, growing the agriculture program and fulfilling administrative roles. She also serves on the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network Board of Directors and Clinton County 4-H Council. Andrea resides in Carroll County Indiana with her husband and two children on a small cattle and crop farm.
