Erin grew up on a 1500 acre grain farm in western Athens County, Ohio. A 2002 graduate of The Ohio State University, Erin has worked for Ohio State University Extension in value-added agriculture ventures and for an educational cooperative that assists schools with reporting data to the state department of education for funding.
In 2010, Erin became a licensed crop insurance agent working with Pioneer Hybrid and NAU.
Erin married Keith Horst in November, 2014 and now resides in Ansonia, OH. She raises a herd of registered Simmental cattle and enjoys spending the summer months with family at tractor pulls throughout the midwest.
